Day 01 |
Everything Is prepared and our representatives are welcoming you upon arrival at the airport of Beirut. The bus
brings our guests to the hotel and a welcome drink is offered. After a short rest, dinner is served in the hotel. |
Day 02 |
Today, the program combines the oldest and the most recent sites of Lebanon. First, we drive to Byblos where our
guests visit the remains of the Phoenician, Greek and Roman times. Lunch is served in restaurant Chez Pepe, a specialist
in fresh sea food. One should definitely visit the caves of the restaurant. Turned into a small museum one can
find a variety of archaeological items. The Chouf Area is the second area to visit. First we stop at Deir Al Qamar
to visit the mosque of the XVIth century, the Baz palace and the palace of the Lebanese Maan. In Beit Eddine our
guests visit the palace of Emir Bechir II who reigned in the XIXth century. This palace is famous for a unique
mix of Italian and oriental architecture. In the restaurant of hotel Mir Amin, the days of the Emirs revive during
a costumed ball, the men wearing the Sarwal, the Tarbouche and a typical vest and the women wearing Abayas and
a Tantour. In the late evening we drive back to Beirut. |
Day 03 |
After dinner we first visit the village of Rashana. The three Basbous brothers succeeded in turning the whole village
into a museum of modern art. The second visit of today brings our guests to Tripoli, the second city of Lebanon.
Here we visit the old part of the city with its mosques, caravanserais, khans and souks. After the visit we drive
to Byblos where fresh fish is served for lunch in restaurant l'Oursin On the way back to Beirut, our guests will
be amazed by the beauty of the caves of Jeita. Stalagmites and stalactites of all colours and shapes are the decor
for a classical concert in the biggest cave. After a rest in the hotel, we take you to the Casino of Lebanon for
dinner. |
Day 04 |
Leaving Lebanon without visiting Baalbak is like visiting Paris without seeing the Eiffel tower. Impossible ! The
mountain road brings our guests to the most fertile valley of Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley. Here our guests first
visit the vineyard of Ksara, the most famous wine producers in Lebanon. Upon arrival in Baalbak, our guests have
to discover themselves the beauty and amazing architecture of this site because no words can explain what your
eyes see here. Lunch is served in Zahle, a small city also known as "The Queen of the Bekaa". After lunch
we return to Beirut and before arriving at the hotel we make a city tour by bus. After a rest in the hotel, we
take our guests to Khayam Al Hana for a fare well dinner in a typical oriental atmosphere with Lebanese Mezze,
narguiles and life music. |
Day 05 |
The bus brings our guests to the airport and we help arranging the border formalities thus assuring a smooth departure. |
