A lunch break at the hotel is scheduled during the visit. After the visits, the guests have some time to relax and refresh in the hotel. Ideas

The program of day 4 can easily be changed and hereafter you will find 2 suggestions.

Day 4 : Early departure from Palmyra to Crac des Chevaliers. After visiting the castle lunch is served in a local restaurant. We cross the border with Lebanon and continue to Baalbak. Baalbeck is one of the most impressive sites in Lebanon. The perfect state of the temples as well as the breathtaking surroundings make a visit more than worthwhile. Once more we cross the border and back in Syria it only takes a little while to arrive in Damascus.

Day 4 : Early departure from Palmyra in the direction of the Hauran. In the south of Syria the guests visit two cities of the Decapolis. Bosra and Qanawat. Furthermore they discover Sweida, Shahba and Ezraa. The south of Syria is worth a visit because of its typical landscape and its extremely rich history.

Options

  • A classic concert can be organized in the historical environment of Crac des Chevaliers, Palmyra or the theater in Bosra.
  • Depending on the time of arrival in Damascus, the guests can either have a look at Damascus from the top of Mount Qassioun or make a small city tour by bus.
  • Instead of spending the night in a hotel in Palmyra, guests might prefer the adventure of camping in the desert.
